Born in the undisputed DJ capital of the world, The Netherlands, CR1 has dedicated himself fully to the music style he truly identifies with: Hardstyle. In 2016 he created his alias CR1 to support the growth of the harder styles in the Southeast Asia region.

With a flair for whipping up the crowd, his sets are high energy and always well received by fans of the harder styles. His signature style includes creative transitions, and focuses on Euphoric Hardstyle, closing off with a rougher edge of Raw hardstyle and occasional Hardcore track.

In a scene that is furiously breaking through in the Southeast Asian region, CR1 offers a unique combination of Western and Asian flavours to deliver versatile sets catering to fans of different tastes.

He has played alongside most major local harder acts, and has opened for international legends such as Max Enforcer and D-Block & S-Te-Fan. Since signing to AfterDark Agency, he has headlined in Myanmar, and has received interest to perform throughout Asia, at venues in Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand and Australia.

From 2019, CR1 has started organising his own events under the “CR1 & Friends” banner. These high exclusive events are unique in setup and draw a high value crowd.
