GemStarr, a notable presence in the entertainment industry, embarked on his DJ journey with his first residency at dbl O Singapore in 2007, driven by his deep passion for music. From 2000 to Present, he solidified his standing by securing residencies at some of Singapore’s most distinguished clubs and mega clubs, including Zirca, DREAM, Fenix Room, Suite26, Bang Bang, and Altimate. Additionally, GemStarr made guest appearances at Zouk, Mink, and The Butter Factory.
Beyond the club scene, GemStarr showcased his talent as a Guest DJ at notable festivals, including the Siloso Countdown Beach Party in 2010, Asia’s largest countdown party, leaving an indelible mark with his electrifying performances. In August 2024 he was also booked to open up the first ever Waterbomb Festival in Singapore playing alongside renowned K-pop stars like Rain, Jay Park, Jessi, Sandra Park, Kwon Eunbi, Jade Rasif, CL, Loco, Bam Bam, Blink, Bibi and many more!

Sharing the stage with international rap icons such as Soulja Boy, Ja Rule, and Fabulous, as well as DJ Mag Top 100 DJs like Sick Individuals and Rave Republic, GemStarr has also collaborated with globally acclaimed DJs like TRIPL, Dada Life, Promised Land, Clinton Sparks, Ruckus, Beatbreaker, Marnik, J Espinosa, and Bangkok Invaders.
GemStarr’s musical versatility allows him to connect with audiences from diverse backgrounds, adapting seamlessly to the unique demands of each crowd. Over the years, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the night scene, continuing to deliver outstanding performances at Bang Bang, Yang Club, and Wan Club in Singapore. In addition to his achievements in nightlife, GemStarr founded the Ministry of DJs in 2012, growing it into the premier DJ school in Singapore.
